Stays and Visits in the Greek Islands

The Greek Islands can satisfy all the expectations of our visitors, and everyone can find what they are looking for. Lovers of peaceful and quiet corners will prefer the smaller wilder Cyclades and their near private creeks. Archaeology enthusiasts will choose the islands with preserved traditions and eventful history, such as the beautiful Rhodes, or the islands of Naxos and Delos. Finally, those who love nightlife will be delighted by staying on islands that are full of life and summer activities, such as the island of Mykonos.

In the islands of the Cyclades, the sparkling white villages, the small fishing ports and the creeks with crystal clear waters make it a paradise where an authentic sweetness of life reigns…

Rhodes

Rhodes, an island that was famously the setting for the construction of the Colossus of Rhodes, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, a gigantic statue, conventionally located at the entrance to the port of the city of Rhodes that remained there for 54 years until Rhodes was struck by the earthquake of 226 BC.  Today the island is considered one of the most historical.

Naxos

Naxos is one of the largest islands of the Cyclades with an area of almost 430 square kilometers. With its many beaches, Naxos is a popular tourist destination with several ruins, such as the Sanctuary of Dionysus which was the center of worship for this Olympian God.

Mykonos

The famous island of Mykonos is one of the most visited in the world. Mykonos was one of the first islands of Greece that developed in tourism as early as the 60s. Mykonos heavily contributed to the Greek revolution. In recent years Mykonos is known for its cuisine and, obviously, its nightlife.

Santorini

Santorini, also called Thera or Thira, is a Greek island in the Aegean Sea. It is really one of the most beautiful islands in the world. You have probably seen pictures of this island all over the internet. Painted with the colors white and blue, Santorini is perfect for beautiful photography sessions. But we must not forget to visit the Akrotiri, the ancient Thira and the sleeping volcano of Santorini.

Akrotiri

Akrotiri is a village on the island of Santorini to the west of which there is a lighthouse dating from 1892 which is ideal for photo shoots. A large part of the city is built around the ruins of a 13th century fortress, Akrotiri Castle.

Psarotaverna

The Psarotavernes of the Greek Islands are the best in the world. The name Psarotaverna (Ψαροταβέρνα) consists of the words “Fish” (Ψάρι) and “Taverna” of course. In these places you can find fish and seafood specialties like shrimp saganaki, fried squid, grilled Lavraki and more.
