Meteora

The Meteora are a geological formation in northern Greece, in Thessaly which have been home to Orthodox Christian monasteries perched on their cliff tops since the 11th century. In modern times, Meteora, still inhabited by monks, are one of the most visited destinations not only in Greece but in the whole of Europe.

Delphi

Delphi is the site of a Panhellenic shrine, located at the base of Mount Parnassus in Phocis, where the Oracle of Apollo, Pythia, sat in the hall of his temple and spoke prophecies in the name of the god. The ruins of Delphi have been brought to light through excavations by the French School of Athens. Every year the site of Delphi is visited by thousands of tourists.

Epidavros

In Epidavros you will find The Sanctuary of Asclepius and of course The Theater of Epidaurus, built as a place of worship for the physician god Asclepius, is the best preserved and is considered the most complete of all the ancient Greek theaters. You will also find the Stadium of Epidaurus in which many legendary athletes of the ancient times competed.

Mycenae

Mycenae is an archaeological site located near Mykines in Argolis, in the northeast Peloponnese. The site is built on a hill rising 900 feet above sea level. It was used as a burial site around the 16th century B.C. notably for The Tomb of Agamemnon. Today, the site is one of the most visited in Greece.

Olympia

Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games, made in honor the Gods, is known for its archaeological site, or rather for its ancient athletic facilities used by the legendary athletes of the historical period. Wrestling fights, javelin throws, running and many more contests were held in this place considered sacred by all Greeks of the legendary period.

Athens 

Athens, the largest city in Greece, is also one of the most densely populated in Europe. Birthplace of democracy, it is particularly known for its Acropolis. The city of Athens is home to two of the most important museums in the country, The Acropolis Museum and The National Archaeological Museum.

Florence

Florence is a city in the center of Italy and the capital of the region of Tuscany. It is known as the birthplace of the Renaissance. The city attracts millions of tourists each year, and in 1982 UNESCO declared the Historic Centre of Florence a World Heritage Site.

Sienna

The city of Siena is located in Tuscany and is the capital of the province of Siena. Its historic center has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Siena has many museums, both artistic and historical, in addition to being known for its excellent restaurants.

Perugia

The city of Perrugia is located about 164 kilometers north of Rome and 148 kilometers southeast of Florence. Visiting Perugia is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a cheap slice of pizza or even a panini in Piazza IV November.

Spoleto

Spoleto is an ancient city located 63 km southeast of Perugia. Spoleto was an important city for the first Umbrian tribes as it seems to have occupied a geographically strategic position with walls around its settlement built in the 5th century BC, parts of which are still visible today.

Assisi

Assisi is a town in the province of Perugia, on the west side of Monte Subasio. Mainly known as the birthplace of St. Francis, the patron saint of Italy, Assisi is home to the Basilica of San Francesco, which is considered the mother church of the Roman Catholic order in Assisi.

Rome

Rome, the capital of Italy and one of the most historically significant cities, with countless historical structures and museums visited. All in all, together with the cuisine and culture, a stay in Rome is an exceptional experience.
